Thank you for stopping by our Kenya-Called by Faith Website. We are delighted that you are interested in the call we have to serve our brothers and sisters in Kenya. Our trip is based on Luke 10:2: He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Our mission trip runs October 17th-30th, 2010. We have seven individuals committed to working in Mumias, Kenya. We will primarily be working with Pastor Lucas and Jane Obanda, of the New Hope Fellowship Church. Our mission schedule includes work in crusade ministry, orphanages, early childhood centers and hospitals. Our hope is to minister and witness to as many people as possible in the remote areas of Western Kenya. We are working very hard at raising the needed funds for this mission call. In addition to the $3700 it will cost each of us to go, we are raising additional funds for Bibles that will be given to each individual who makes a personal choice to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We are also helping Pastor Lucas with sustainability needs including the purchase of land to farm, milk cows, goats and hens. All prayers for this mission trip are appreciated.
